    Interdisciplinary Artist Workshops for Students 
    An inside look at what it takes to create in multiple different artistic mediums. This workshop will be presented by industry professionals for secondary school students within local school boards.

    Storytelling Through Dance - Skye Smith - Art Hub at Spring
    Local dramatist Skye Smith will lead participants through an interactive workshop 'Storytelling Through Dance' at the Art Hub At Spring (504 Queen Street East).

    Artist Workshop - Book-folding in the Plaza
    Join Lisa Parlow-Tucker in the Beer Garden at the Downtown Plaza for a free tutorial in the craft of book-folding. Pre-registration appreciated but not required, walk-ins welcome!

    Strange Exhibits Public Art Walking Tour - Start at the Plaza
    Join walking tour leader Rachel Silva on a free tour route that will explore public art and the city's mural collection. Pre-registration appreciated but not required.

    present: Traces II

    A multimedia event employing spoken word, percussion and projected video. A collaborative exploration of sound and imagery dealing with personal responses to the beauty, power and fragility of the artist’s environment.

    Morning Yoga in the Plaza
    Start your morning off with serenity by joining us for a free yoga session Cynthia McCutcheon! This all-ages, all-abilities, all-levels yoga session will provide participants with modifications for their practice. Please plan to bring your own yoga mat and meet at the North side of the Downtown Plaza.
     

  • 9AM-2:00PM
    Mosaic Market + LIP Cultural Performances at the Plaza
    Come to the Downtown Plaza to visit the Soo Market and explore the offerings of additional artisan vendors!
    During market hours, performers will take the stage to share their culture with the community, followed by musical entertainment from local artists Nino DiPasquo and Gimiiwan!
     

  • 5PM - 6PM
